From childhood, Karamina’s path was one of discipline and danger, her spirit forged in the fires of conflict and relentless pursuit.

As a young woman, Karamina became the devoted apprentice of the legendary battle-monk of Oderia, whose crusade took them to the farthest reaches of the Known World. Together, they hunted the shadows between realms, fighting to keep the boundaries between the Hollowed Side and the living world intact. It was in these liminal spaces—where reality thinned and nightmare creatures slipped through—that Karamina earned her name as a leader.

When the demons of the Hollowed Side threatened to spill forth, Karamina rallied hundreds of soldiers beneath her banner. Even as fear and treachery sowed discord within her ranks—an internal coup threatening to tear her company apart—she refused to yield. With only a loyal handful, she marched on Mazurai’s Den, the source of the corruption. There, in a final act of defiance and sacrifice, Karamina bound the demon Mazurai, sealing the rift but losing her own life in the process.

Yet death was not her end. Moved by her unwavering courage, the god Xidon lifted Karamina from her mortal tomb and brought her to his celestial city. There, she was transformed—no longer merely mortal, but a goddess, chosen to guide the fate of the courageous and the spirited in the world below.
